The Pools, Oh The Pools
For us a downside of staying at the Beach Club is that it is very popular with young families due to Storm Along Bay, the previously mentioned water park like pool area at the resort. Storm Along Bay. It is huge.
There are some nice shady spots but lots of sun spots. And Storm Along Bay is huge. When Nancy and I were here it took me a good 5 to 7 minutes to walk to Hurricane Hanna’s for our food and drinks.
Yet, that is how large the Storm Along Bay pool area is.
Earlier I mentioned that there are three leisure, or quiet, pools on site. The first one is located at the Yacht Club area. It reminds me of one of the two leisure pools at Disney’s BoardWalk resort but not as much shady areas by the pool.
The second of three leisure pools is called the Beach Club Villas pool. Guests staying at either Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Yacht Club Resort and Beach Club Villas have full access to all of the pools here.
