First Disney Cruise Tip Number 1
What is the best location to see the fireworks on the Disney WISH? That one we learned the hard way. Disney entertainment outdoors on the Funnel Vision Deck Stage on Deck 11 frequently ends with fireworks while at sea, day or night. So Disney!
This includes the last show on Pirates night (when they typically have two Pirate different themed shows).
The best place to see them in actually one deck above where the entertainment occurs, that being on Deck 12. Specifically, if you are facing the stage it will be on deck 12 to the right of the stage. Try to get a spot at least 30 to 45 minutes before the show starts on the railing of the deck 12 area to the right of the stage.
Perhaps the fireworks are more important to you than the entertainment. Then find a spot in the same area but nearer the ship’s railing toward the side of the ship. This way the AquaMouse track will be less of a visual obstacle for you
Tip Number 2
Skip the Avengers Dinner. On Disney Cruise Line ships they have a rotatonal dining approach. On the Disney WISH, one night you will be assigned to the Worlds of Marvel Avengers themed restaurant. There is entertainment provided in the Marvel restaurant:
- Between courses there is a video short unique to the Disney WISH about a Marvel super hero’s saving the Disney WISH
- While eating the video screens on the wall simply show pictures of selected Marvel super hereo’s and their bios.
- One or two Marvel Characters at the end of dinner walk around and wave
We are in the minority. This a one and done for us (if we ever go on another Disney WISH cruise). We thought there would be much more to the entertainment. The Frozen dinner show in the Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure restaurant up on Deck 4 which was much more entertaining.
Yes, we are both huge Mavel Universe fans yet would have had a better time at one of the specialty Dining restaurants for an upcharge.
