Wailana Pool – The Aulani Adults Only Pool

Let’s start with the Wailana Pool.

Why do we say it is close to perfection? It is its location. And it is something that one cannot really appreciate until you have been to Disney’s Aulani.

In the Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa map below, the Wailana Pool is location number 21 over on the right. Let’s say you had a spa treatment at Laniwai – A Disney Spa or completed a gym workout at the Mikimiki Fitness Center which is located in the same building.

You can simply walk from where the on site spa  and fitness center is located to one entrance for the Wailana Pool area.

There are 5 cabanas at the Aulani adults only pool which are for rent at this location plus a huge area for a large group.

The Wailana pool area is surrounded by a large amount of plants and trees which provide shade in the afternoons.

There is a decorative rock wall which include small water fountain spouts about 2/3’rds of the way up and a submerged seating bench which goes the length of the pool on the one side.

The pool depth is 3 feet at this end to a maximum of 4 feet at the other end.

Now, let’s get back to location.

Right at one end of the Wailana Pool area for 18 years of age and older is the Wailana Pool Bar serving adult beverages and casual resort food like burgers, wraps and pizzas. It is highlighted in blue in the map below.

It is literally just a few steps away from the pool; incredibly convenient. Even more convenient would be if they provided attendants from whom you could order and receive drinks and meals from the Wailana Pool Bar……and they do.

If you wanted to eat at a table rather than at your lounger you can do that just a few more steps from the adults only pool on the other side of the Wailana Pool Bar.

For even more convenience, there is a small building right there where the ladies and men’s washrooms are located……again, just a few more steps away from the pool area.
