Disney Cruises and Seniors – Two Disney Cruises Taken
First there was this….one good one not so good.
“Two Disney cruises at 50 something. Both Halloween time. The first, the price was comparable to Norwegian Cruise. It was magical. The shows were the best we’ve seen at sea. The food was excellent. It was stone crab season and I tried to eat my weight in crab. The Halloween party brought out amazing costumes on the characters and the guests. Love the waterside.
Decided to go again. The second time was not as magical. The crew seemed tired. There was nothing special, not that crew has to wow us, but it was off. Other people we met felt the same. Oh, but Castaway Cay is a great port.
If you don’t feel like going to the dining room at dinner, your choices are very limited. That was a negative for us.
It’s not an amusement park, so if it’s rides you want, you’ll be disappointed. It’s a cruise with Disney themed and Disney priced extras so if your wallet can handle that, great; if not, we love Carnival and Norwegian for cruises.”

Next, in this comment about Disney cruises and seniors, Disney Cruise Line was two for two:
“We’ve been on two Disney cruises and have a cruise on the Treasure booked for January. It is like living in the Magic Kingdom for a week! The food is fabulous and dining is a true experience. The rooms are more spacious than on other cruise lines. Entertainment is Disney wonderful! The swim up bar in the adult pool is fun. There are so many activities for kids, that adults can enjoy each other.”
Another comment about Disney cruises and seniors where once again Disney cruises was two for two:
“I would describe a Disney cruise to a Disney fan as being like “Disney World on steroids!” As of today, I have been on two Disney cruises . . the Fantasy and Dream . . . they were both top notch interior design. . . very customer friendly and accommodating, delicious meals, top notch staff and just MAGICAL!! I have no children, so that was not an issue. My other cruise experience was with Carnival Cruise Line. It does not compare . . . the clientele were mostly young party goers. Those Carnival experiences left me being particular about which cruise line I use to travel.”
