Day 10 – Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort
Where are the crowds? I’m writing this portion of our magical Walt Disney World Seniors Trip report at the Bahama Breeze Island Grille bar at the Orlando International Airport (MCO) almost 4 hours before our Thanksgiving Sunday flight departs ….. Lyft to airport 30 minutes …. curbside luggage checkin no waiting ….. TSA Precheck security no waiting …. security screening 2 minutes …. not busy at all

We started our last day with Nancy’s long training run of 11 miles.
Checked our bags at Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa’s Bell station ….. took the monorail to Magic Kingdom.

We then the boat to Wilderness Lodge. It was a very enjoyable ride.

Nancy retrieved a senior’s pink Magic Band from the walkway who was walking ahead of us …. the lady was very appreciative.

Wilderness Lodge was its usual outstandingly decorated for the holidays.

If you haven’t ever been it is worth taking time out to see and experience it.

Brunch at Whispering Canyon restaurant after admiring the Christmas decorations inside the resort was yummy. Our server, Sunshine, we have had previously and was great.
You know about airport experience…. easy peasy.
Would we go again to Walt Disney World during Thanksgiving week?
This is our second in a row and, planning around the blackout dates with the Sorcerer’s Annual Pass that we have, would say yes we would do it again.
Next year will see what life has in store for us.
