A Magical Disney World Seniors Trip

Day 3 – African Jungle Treck – What An Adventure!

Today was special …. Nancy arranged for the African Jungle Trek!

Wild Africa Trek

It is an upcharge and you also need a park admission to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Yes, we got to keep the large water bottle that they provide.

Wild Africa Trek

We highly, highly recommend it for older adults and seniors on many levels.

We have dozens and dozens of pictures and videos to share.

Some were taken by Nancy and I.

Others were taken by the wonderful Cast Members who were our guides.

Lunch was provided which was wonderful.

It even included P.O.G. (Pineapple Orange Guava juice)!

I’ll create a series of videos and blog posts here.

There was just so much over the 3 hour adventure. What a way to make our Walt Disney World seniors trip a wonderful memory for many years to come.

Nancy and I also purchased the small items for the contest for the launch of this, the Disney for Seniors Facebook Group’s new companion website 😄 too! More on the contest only for members of the Disney for Seniors Facebook Group shortly.

After a nap back in our room, we played mini golf Disney style (another short video in the making😀) which was loads of fun!

It was a 10 minute walk from Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and was included in the price of our stay.

Neither Nancy nor I had placed mini golf in years and years.

And when you come to Walt Disney World most guests, including older adults and seniors do not have playing mini-golf as their must do activities.

Yet, Nancy and I can tell you that it was loads of fun for us.

Yes, we kept score.

Yes, Nancy won!

Ended with dinner at the Toledo restaurant at the top of Disney’s Coronado Springs resort.

This was another first for us.

It was a wonderful atmosphere.

The service was first rate, the food might be an aquired taste for some.

We thought it was very, very good.

Truly a magical day.

This special dinner really helped Nancy and I to enjoy our Walt Disney World seniors trip.

Tomorrow’s moving day to another Disney resort!
