Day 6 – Walt Disney World Seniors Trip Pre-Thanksgiving
WDW Trip Day 6
Today we took a break from the Parks.
We switched from our one bedroom unit at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas to a Lake View studio unit at the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort& Spa.

It was a work day for Nancy. She ended up working inside the Convention Center building.

I took my trusty camera to several different areas of Walt Disney World.
The first was the main lobby of the resort. Seeing this gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa’s main lobby always enhances our Walt Disney World seniors trip.

I took several pictures and vidoes of monorail; it is such an iconic tranportation visual for Walt Disney World.

I also took the Skyliner as I went to EPCOT and then Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Back at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa I got lunch for Nancy and myself at Gasparilla’s.

Finally our DVC studio was ready just before 4 pm. Once we settled in we had dinner at 1900 Park Fare Character character dining buffet for dinner.

First time for us.

I won’t say it was my favorate. It was very crowded and not a place for a quiet relaxing dinner as many older adults and seniors might prefer after a day out. Yet it was fun getting our picture taken with the Disney characters and seeing how they interacted with the young guests.

Yet it was fun and we are glad we experienced it.

Tomorrow’s Thanksgiving.
