More Seating to Improve the Disney Parks Experience for Seniors
More seating throughout Disney parks was the number one suggestion by seniors. Seniors have less stamina compared to when tey were younger. Having more seating would mean less scooters in the Disney parks, they would stay in the Disney theme parks longer because they would not become as tired. And by staying in a Disney theme park longer they are more likely to spend more money on another meal or snack, or on another sourvenir or two before they leave the park.

The video outlines different areas in specific Disney theme parks where more seats should be installed such as outside the entrance to thrill type of attractions where seniors would wait for their children and grand children to experience. And, a not so unique but a seemingly forgotten approach to help Disney pay for the extra seating.

More Shade in the Disney Parks
What are outdoor seating areas without adequate shade especially in Central Florida and Southern California’s midsummer heat and humidity. That is our next group of suggestions to improve the Disney parks experience for seniors, given by seniors.
Incorporate shade structures into the areas within Dinseyland and Walt Disney World theme parks where more seating was suggested in the video.
Add more shade structures into nighttime attraction waiting areas where guests wait until the sun goes down for the show to begin. The additional shading will help reduce the risk of skin cancer for Disney guests. It would also helps reduce the fatigue of all guests. Remember, a less fatigued guest is more likely to stay in the theme park longer and thus spend more money on snacks, merchandise and meals. Once again, the increased revenue for Disney through these increased in park sales would help fund the cost of constructing more shade in the same Disney parks.
Seniors Recognition Days
Becoming a senior means that one has literally survived the challenges that life throws at us over the decades. It is an accomplishment that should be recognized and celebrated.
This is also an interesting suggestion and a potential money maker for Disney. Why not recognize seniors with a special senior morning or special senior days at certain Disney theme parks. This could include early Park admission for seniors and their families. The Disney theme parks would be less crowded and thus more easy for seniors to maneuver.

Have special guest activities for seniors and special musical or theatrical performances earlier in the day. Promote senior days or senior weeks with specialty merch merchandise just as Disney does for the various festivals at Epcot or runDisney events.
Hey Disney, seniors are to be celebrated, not ignored.
