Character Breakfast Food at Disney’s Aulani
On to the food for breakfast.
Nancy and I thought we would have to chose one of the two starters. Wrong!
Each guest automatically receives both starters as part of the fixed price breakfast.
We both ordered water, POG (Pineapple, Orange and Guava combined juice) and coffee.
First came out our yogurt parfait which was delicious.
Then the Malasadas which were very warm as they are made when the order is placed. So Good.
We were not rushed in any way. It was a delicious, very filling, breakfast that lasted for us most of the day without having anything to eat by the beach other than a few munchies we purchased from the ABC store across the street from Aulani.

Throughout our meal a cast of Disney characters would come to everyone’s table for personal pictures with our cameras as you can see here.
We were not rushed in any way. It was a delicious, very filling, breakfast that lasted for us most of the day. We didn’t need anything to eat by the beach hntil dinner.
Finally, this was the most unexpected surprised that adults and seniors can really appreciat. This topped off our wonderful experience at the Disney Character Breakfast at the Makahiki restaurant at Aulani.
This guy! We had never seen this type of bird before.
We did some quick research online at it appeared to us to be a teenaged bird from the Heron family. He or she was still getting his adult plumage which from our research would be black, grey and white but we could be wrong.
Just look how relaxed and calm it was. We even caught it trying to play (or eat?) with the Koi fish in the fish pond which surrounded him.
