If you are looking specifically for reviews which evaluate the adequacy of guest rooms for older adults and seniors at Disney Resorts, using a consistent checklist of safety and convenience items which seniors said they want, then you have come to the right place.
How high is the bed? The Toilet? Are there grab / safety bars in the bathroom? Is there enough space for a scooter? For two? Are there enough electrical outlets? These are the things that matter to older adults and seniors.
The Seniors Checklist was created from the 30 most requested items by seniors on what features they want and need in guest rooms at and around any Disney resort. These 30 most requested items were grouped into 15 safety related items and 15 related convenience items.
Who were these seniors that provided the input into the Seniors Checklist? They came from the Disney for Seniors Facebook Group, now with over 96,000 members!
Rather than the traditional or typical video tour of a guest hotel room, or Disney Vacation Club studio, one bedroom, 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom unit, the following reviews evaluate whether each guest room will meet the needs of seniors based on the 15 safety items and 15 convenience items which these Disney luvin’ seniors said they wanted.
