We asked over now 95,000 members of the Disney for Seniors Facebook Group to select their favorite Disney cruise ships, and why.
You are an older adult or senior, and want to try your first or go on your next Disney cruise. Or, you have a family member who is a senior about to select your first or your next Disney Cruise Line cruise. It is important to you to select the Disney ship that seniors who have already gone a Disney cruise prefer; the Disney Cruise Line ship that is their favorite.
These Disney luvin’ seniors had a lot to say about their favorite Disney Cruise Line cruise ships. For some there was only one Disney Cruise Line ship that was the best; others felt for them that there were a few Disney cruise ships which they liked.
For many, there was one class of Disney cruise ships that they did not like and gave a failing grade. And they gave a lot of reasons why.

Seniors’ Favorite Disney Cruise Ships Poll
Members of the same Disney for Seniors Facebook Group were asked “What is your favorite Disney cruise ship, and why?“
Here are the results:
Now, this poll is likely biased towards the older ships which have been around since literally the turn of the century and thus will have had many more sailings providing many more guest experiences.
While there were many comments by members of the Disney for Seniors that they preferred the smaller and older ships which you will hear in the accompanying video, the poll numbers did not necessarily support these comments.
And, yes, this is not a statistically controlled poll and Group members could select more than one Disney Cruise Line ship.
- While 48% selected the smaller and oldest Magic class of ships, which are the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder …
- 38% also selected the larger Dream class of ships, which are the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy
- Seniors in the poll indicated a strong dislike of the Wish Class of ships, which are presently the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure with only 11% making either their preferred choice
