Now 3 Disney Pools at Disney’s Poly

The Oasis Pool at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Disney's Polynesian Resort

The third pool area at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is tucked away from, dare I say, all the action of the previous two pools.

The Oasis Pool is surrounded by guest buildings, with no view of the Seven Seas Lagoon.

There is no water slide, no children’s play area.

This is the swimming pool for those who simply want to enjoy a more tranquil, relaxing experience, away from the busyness of the resort and the Disney theme parks.

It does also provide a zero-depth entry at the one end of the pool like the previous two Disney pools here at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort we have toured.

Disney's Oasis Pool

The Oasis Pool does offer something that neither the Cove or Lava pools offer. At the Oasis Pool, guests staying at Disney’s Poly can make a reservation to rent what Disney calls Oasis Patios. I call them casabellas or cabanas.

Unlike the similar shaded offerings or casabellas we saw in last week’s Disney World resort pools tour at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge which are complementary, or free … these at the Oasis Pool can be reserved in advance and for a daily fee.

We will put a link at the end to the tour of the swimming pools at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge for you.

Disney's Pools

The Oasis Pool area has its own bar and grill called, appropriately enough, the Oasis Bar & grill. This serves adult and non-adult beverages, Polynesian and non-Polynesian themed  quick food such at hamburgers, kalua pork sliders and even fish tacos.

If  you have stayed at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort or at the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, and if you have spent time at any of the three swimming pools on site, which is your favorite?
