Disney World Skyliner and Scooters

Disney World Trasnportation Skyliner

There is a separate line at each Disney Skyliner station for groups that include a scooter. Keep your party together.

Only one scooter per Skyliner cabin. The cabin is stationary as shown in the picture below until the scooter rider and their party are on board. You will ride the scooter right onto it, and a Cast Member will check your wheels.

Boats at Walt Disney World and Scooters

Ferry Boat at Magic Kingdom: This is the easiest of all transportation options. You wait with your party, and then all board together. Ride it right on to the Ferry, find a spot with a good view, and turn the scooter off. You are ready to go!

Small resort boats: This is the one form of Disney transportation that you cannot use with a scooter, but in most cases, the next boat will be larger, and will accommodate scooters.

Other Walt Disney World boats: there are a few other styles of boats that you can take your scooter onto. The Disney Cast Members will help guide you onto a temporary ramp, and onto the boat.

  1. Good information. I think maybe you meant to say they “chock your wheels” on the skyliner, at least that is what they did when I used it. They put chock blocks to stabilize it. Thanks for the article am hoping to use the other means of transportation when I am down there next time.
